Lyon College is a tight-knit community that 500 students call “home,” and we can’t wait to meet you. As a nationally recognized liberal arts college, Lyon offers a well-rounded education that prepares graduates both to succeed in their careers and to contribute to society as productive citizens. Nestled in the foothills of the Ozarks, the College fosters each student’s development through meaningful mentorships with faculty and staff in an inclusive learning environment. Ninety-eight percent of Lyon graduates are employed or in grad school within six months of graduation, and Lyon has a medical school acceptance rate more than double the national average.We are also the only pet-friendly college in Arkansas, meaning our students are allowed to bring their best fur friends to live with them in our designated pet residence halls. On-campus, the College has a dog park, ropes course, a lake, a disc golf course, and bike/hiking trails. You will never feel bored!
