At NYFA, students get the practical training and mentorship necessary to develop creative and technical expertise in their chosen craft. In our degree, certificate, and short-term workshops, students create projects and learn how to navigate the creative process from start to finish. Through this rigorous but rewarding approach, students get the tools, resources, and support to build their confidence and grow as artists while developing communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.We currently offer programs in filmmaking, acting for film, producing, musical theatre, screenwriting, photography, cinematography, 3D animation and VFX, documentary filmmaking, game design, digital editing, broadcast journalism, entertainment media, as well as virtual reality.
